Pre/Postnatal Classes

ALL THESE CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING PART ONLINE AND PART IN STUDIO (We can take 4 people in the studio and everyone else on zoom). Classes are also recorded so you can catch up later or do extra sessions for the same price.

Ante-Natal Pilates Classes

Suitable all the way through pregnancy.  These classes help strengthen your core, support your lower back, build up your pelvic floor muscles and build the muscles around the pelvis up to help prevent pelvic girdle pain. We also include release stretches for those tight areas and exercises to help with specific pregnancy niggles – so please do let Priya know if you are suffering from anything.

Having done her basic pre/postnatal qualification Priya has continued to study and build up her knowledge and is probably now the most knowledgable and highly trained teacher in the area.

Tuesdays pre-recorded session in the facebook group. These sessions have a theme working on a specific area of the body or a pregnancy related issue such as pelvic girdle pain. These sessions also include an educational element and top tips to help yourself at home.

Saturdays 09.00-09.45hrs a mixed pregnancy class that you can attend over zoom, or in person if restrictions allow. Also recorded.

All classes require a birthing/exercise ball to be brought with you, we can supply these at a cost of £10.

Post-Natal Pilates Classes

Suitable after your 6-week check (8 weeks for c section) and after clearance from your GP. You are very welcome to join our postnatal classes.

Currently these classes are running on zoom and this has been working very well as your baby can sleep, or be with you and the classes are recorded so anything you miss you can catch up on. It is not recommended you exercise with your baby on you/as part of the class, so if you choose to do this it is at your own risk.

These classes will help you tone up after birth, build up your pelvic floor muscles and your core strength. Priya focuses on posture, correcting muscle imbalances, strengthening the whole body and functional exercises too.

We also have a whatsapp group for mummies to chat and build community, so feel free to arrange to meet up with others local to you.

Mondays 09.30-10.15 a mixed class and postnatal/peri-post menopausal exercise. This is the ideal place to get your body stronger in a safe way.

Fridays: 09.30-10.15 a gentler rehabilitation class with releases, core breathing and core strenghthening.
