Ante-Natal Pilates Classes
Suitable all the way through pregnancy. These classes help strengthen your core, support your lower back, build up your pelvic floor muscles and build the muscles around the pelvis up to help prevent pelvic girdle pain. We also include release stretches for those tight areas and exercises to help with specific pregnancy niggles – so please do let Priya know if you are suffering from anything.
Having done her basic pre/postnatal qualification Priya has continued to study and build up her knowledge and is probably now the most knowledgable and highly trained teacher in the area.
All classes require a birthing/exercise ball to be brought with you, we can supply these at a cost of £10.

Post-Natal Pilates Classes
Suitable after your 6-week check and after clearance from your GP. We offer a creche so you can bring your baby with you, which works most of the time! James is our resident Daddy day-care and somehow he juggles all the babies, doing bottle feeds, nappies and often singing to them. This is an hour long class giving time for mums to pop out of the class to feed/soothe your baby when needed, yet still get a workout.
These classes will help you tone up after birth, build up your pelvic floor muscles and your core strength. Priya focuses on posture, correcting muscle imbalances, strengthening the whole body and functional exercises too. Stay for a cuppa and a chat after
