Faye Seward – Pilates with a whole heap of experience.
Faye trained at The Royal Academy of Dancing for 7 years before being awarded a scholarship to study a BA (Hons) in the Art and Teaching of Classical Ballet at the R.A.D. It was at this time that she was introduced to Pilates by Alan Herdman. In 2001 she began her Pilates teacher training with Body Control, London and has since continued her training with FITT to gain CYQ Level 3 in Mat Pilates. Faye is also qualified in Holistic and Sports Massage (ITEC & CIBTAC).
Jo Fleet – Pilates with a lot of laughs.
Jo first experienced Pilates over 20 years ago when studying dance and came back to classes 8 years ago when looking for a technique to manage a busy working life and the challenges it placed on her body. Jo qualified as a Level 3 Pilates teacher with CYQ and FITT in August 2012 and is a member of REPS. She teaches Pilates mat and small equipment classes at all levels and enjoys keeping up her own regular Pilates practice by attending class and workshops, as there is always something new to learn. In Jo’s classes she likes to place the emphasis on the individual learning about their body and movement whilst having some fun.
Chrissy May – Miss Flexible, with ballet and pilates too.
Chrissy is here to keep us on our toes. Brilliant at working with children she teaches our children’s ballet classes and is well loved by the children. Mum to 4 children, Chrissy is an expert at multi-tasking and also teaches Pilates for us too.
Chrissy May was initially trained as a child by Sandy Beck who inspired her to become a ballet teacher at a very young age. From Sandy, she gained a love of dance and the freedom and joy that comes with dancing. Chrissy was coached by Julia Chittenden and Jayne Cooper, eventually qualifying under the watchful eye of Virginia Wilkinson. Chrissy’s favourite type of dance is Ballet, but she can also teach Tap, Modern and National.
Aimee Dibbens – Pilates with the calm, chilled approach.
Aimee has a flowing, chilled feel to her classes. She will work you hard but leave you relaxed by the end. Introduced to Pilates to help with some back issues from her time rowing at University, Aimee has been hooked ever since. She loves a variety of different exercise and is always keen to learn more, try different things and experiment.
We also have a variety of instructors who regularly cover classes for us, all are trained to Level 3 standard and we only take on the best so you get the best class.
